North to Dead Horse

I took a short trip north these past few days. Past fairbanks, through cold foot, accross the arctic circle to Prudhoe bay and back. Roughly 1700 miles all together. One day of rain made for rough going in gnarly mud but most of the road was in decent shape except for the millions of potholes.
The first day was easy enough and I found a free place to spend the night. 500 miles done. The seccond day quickly turned to rain.

Atigun Pass was socked in and pouring rain. I was wet and grumpy when I got to the other side.

The bike had turned brown all over.

The second day was nicer weather and allowed me to do about 700 miles back home
